Terms of Service Jericho Stone Care:
Introduction These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the sale, fabrication, delivery, and installation of countertops and related services provided by Jericho Stone Care ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By requesting a quote, accepting an estimate, placing an order, or allowing access to your property for any work, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms supplement any written contract or proposal provided by the Company and apply to all services in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and the New England region unless otherwise altered in a signed agreement.
Services Provided a. Scope: We fabricate and install natural and engineered stone countertops including granite, quartz, and marble, and provide related services such as templating, sink and faucet cutouts, edge profiling, sealing, and finishing. b. Estimates and Proposals: We provide written estimates or proposals that describe scope, materials, timeline, and price. Estimates are valid for the period specified on the estimate or, if none specified, for 30 days. c. Changes: Any change to scope, materials, additional to countertops sqft, requested by the Customer after an accepted quote will be subject to a written change order and additional charges where applicable.
Orders, Deposits, and Payment a. Acceptance: An order is accepted when the Customer provides the required deposit which is 50% of the quote. b. Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure orders unless otherwise stated. The deposit amount will be specified in the quote/estimate. c. Payment Terms: Final payment is due upon completion of installation unless stated by Osmin Portillo. We accept the forms of payment specified in the proposal. If Customer fails to pay as agreed, we may suspend work, refuse delivery, or pursue collections and recover associated costs. d. Additional Charges: Additional charges may apply for unforeseen conditions (e.g., subsurface issues, structural modifications, plumbing, electrical, access limitations) discovered during fabrication or installation. We will notify Customer and request approval before proceeding with such work.
Materials, Substitutions, and Availability
How slab selection works (client-selected slabs vs. company-selected).
Lead times, backorders, and right to substitute comparable materials if original becomes unavailable (with client consent).
Natural stone variation disclaimer (veining, color, texture, fissures(cracks within the stone, pitting).
Site Access, Preparation, and Customer Responsibilities a. Access: Customer shall provide safe, unobstructed access to the work area and allow reasonable work hours. A. Site Preparation: Prior to installation, Customer must ensure cabinets, appliances, plumbing disconnection, and electrical work are ready as required. We are not responsible: for disconnecting your kitchen and bathroom plumbing or any electrical work in kitchen and bathrooms. WE ARE NOT LICENSED FOR PLUMBING OR ELECRTRICAL WORK
Scheduling, Delays, and Cancellation a. Scheduling: We will provide estimated installation dates. Dates are estimates and may change due to material availability, weather, or unforeseen circumstances. b. Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by supplier shortages, transportation, labor disputes, or other events beyond our control. c. Cancellation: If Customer cancels after materials have been ordered or fabrication begun, Customer may be responsible for material, fabrication, and restocking fees, along with any nonrefundable deposits. If we cancel, we will refund any prepaid amounts less documented costs incurred.
Site Conditions and Unforeseen Issues can cause delays:
Handling unforeseen site problems (e.g., uneven cabinets, wall irregularities, substructure repair).
We have the right to pause work and provide revised estimate if significant hidden issues are discovered that can damage the countertops.
Inspection, Clean-Up and Acceptance Upon completion, Customer shall inspect the work and provide either verbal or written approval to Osmin Portillo or Jericho Stone Personnel. Jericho Stone will clean up installation residuals during the installation process. If material deficiencies are identified, Customer must immediately notify Osmin Portillo at 781.521.0451 or email us at sales@jerichostonecare.info us within 7 days in writing to allow timely correction. Failure to provide timely notice constitutes acceptance of the work.
Material Maintenance, Sealing, During or After installation of your countertops, WE will provide you with important sealing and maintenance information to keep your material in top shape.
Damages caused to countertops by Customer. Customer must immediately notify Osmin Portillo at 781.521.0451 or email us at sales@jerichostonecare.info we will address the damages and respond accordingly.
